Short Paragraph on A Village Doctor

Answer: a village doctor is a most familiar figure in the village. He renders a very valuable service to the village people. He opens his dispensary either in the parlor of his house of in a room in the village market. He leads a very busy life. He examines his patients at his dispensary in the morning and gives them medicine. Then he goes out to attend the private calls. He goes out either on foot or by bicycle. He is seen to attend the patients with an air of a qualified doctor. He is very regular in his duties. He takes special care of his patients. He looks upon them as his own relatives. This is why he is loved and respected by one and all in the village. He is badly needed in the village. It is because qualified doctors are hardly available in the village. He always gives good advice to all and soundly. Moreover they can have cheap treatment under him. Not only that they always find his by them in their weal and woe. Thus a village doctor acts as a great friend to the village people.

A village doctor is a very familiar and popular figure in rural areas. He has no degree in medical science. He has a chamber in his house. There is a chair, an old table, two or three almirahs made of wood and one or two benches at one side of his chamber. He gets up early in the morning and has his breakfast. Then he starts to meet the patients. He continues to consult with the patient and gives medicine until it is noon. At noon he takes his bath and then takes his lunch. After lunch he takes rest for a short while. Then he gets out of the house to attend the calls. Usually he uses a bicycle to go from one village to another. In the evening he returns home. Then he washes his hands and face and takes refreshment. Then he again starts to meet the patients. He often listens to the problems of. the patients and gives them medicine. The villagers trust him and if any one falls ill he at once rushes to him. He gives treatment to the villagers in return of a very minimum fee. Sometimes he does not demand any fee but he only takes the price of medicine. A village doctor has no assistant. He does everything single handed.
